Our Equines
Herkules:
Herkules was and still is, my first horse. He came to me in 1991 as a Colt and we
are inseparable ever since. His strong personality and intelligence make him an
excellent partner in numerous areas. He is exceptional with assisting me in teaching
students and training horses.
Back in Germany, he competed very successfully in G
ymkhanas, Trail Rallies and All
round Competitions!
Besides enjoying competing, he completed his Training for Motor Therapeutic Riding
in 2002.
Fleet Patrick:
Right after our moved to Kansas in 2004, a Paint named Fleet joined Herkules
in our pasture.  His intelligence and inquisitiveness makes it fun to work with
him, though it can get him into trouble occasionally.
Pepsi:
In 1994 a little Shetland Pony was tied out at a tree close to my winter
pasture.I went and visited it, brought him hay. A few days later, late at night, I
received a phone call : A little pony is lost and needs a place to be! I went and
took him in.  He was in a horrid condition. The Vet wasn't even sure if he would
survive. But he did recover well and soon put his intelligence known from
Shettys on display. Pepsi trained children and competed successfully with them
in numerous events, from G
ymkhanas to Trail rally Competitions. He loved
pulling carriages and on Christmas he gave the Reindeer's a break!
Unfortunately I couldn't bring him with me, so he lends his services to a Riding
Stable for Therapeutic Riding in Germany.
Colored Mountain "Mounty":
Mounty is another horse that we had to leave behind in Germany. He had been sold
by his breeder ,but she took him back after she found out he was being mistreated
and was deemed dangerous. We got told that we were to be his last chance...
Mounty had severe trust issues and reacted severely to the slightest wrong move.
But we were able to gain his trust and confidence. He turned out to be a nice horse,
that could compete in Rallys and M
ounted games successfully. He now roams
pastures in Germany back with his breeder. We would love to have him over here
with us.
Buckster:
This Paint is living with us since 2004. He now is considered Family. He is a gentle
horse, but takes a little time to gain his trust. But once he gains confidence in one,
he is a happy worker, that is eager to please.
